Photojournalism nominee

This is how Malta celebrates. In August, Birgu, Malta, hosts a week-long festival in honor of Saint Dominic. Every day, there is a procession around the town with the statue of Saint Dominic. The celebrations are grand, with songs and fireworks. Festivals are one of the most colorful elements of Maltese tradition, religion, and everyday life. The Maltese festa is recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. The local tradition dates back to the 16th century. A festa is a traditional Maltese religious holiday.

I'm particularly interested in portrait, reportage & street photography. I see the world through a lens. My photographs have been represented in many photographic competitions & I was a National Geographic Grand Prix winner in 2016. I have received further commendations in international photographer of the year (2016), monochrome award (2016). I keep working on my passion through workshops and photography clubs.
