Daydreams compels viewers to fill the void with their own interpretations, posing questions rather than answers. Who is the woman? Why does she regard the monkey with such tenderness or perhaps unease? Is the graffiti a symbol of the external world intruding on this isolated moment? The image lingers in the mind like a half-remembered dream, resisting resolution and inviting reflection.

Tom is a native of Detroit, Michigan, but now calls Rochester, New York his home. He acquired a liberal arts degree and a Master's degree from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. Tom is self-taught in the art of photography. He likes to take seemly average images and rearrange them into something more than the sum of its parts. Compositing is a wonderful way to create by inclusion instead of exclusion.
