I am creating a series of photographs inspired by Greek mythology, drawing from stories that resonate with me on a personal level. These myths carry timeless, archetypal messages that continue to inspire and evoke deep emotions. Through my work, I explore the connections between ancient legends and the present, capturing figures that embody the essence of these powerful narratives.
The people I photograph are not just subjects; they are individuals who, in some way, reflect the spirit of these mythological stories within me. Their presence, emotions, and energy bring these ancient tales to life in a modern, intimate way.
So far, I have chosen figures such as Demeter, the god of war, the story of Pandora, Persephone, the Oracle of Delphi, Pythia and others. Each of these myths holds a unique significance to me, and my series continues to evolve as I uncover more legends that echo within my soul.
