DESCRIPTION
This photograph was taken in my apartment, utilising a narrow slit of light that filtered through the roof fabric. In capturing her in this moment, I sought to convey not only her physical presence but the profound sense of safety and trust she represents for me. This portrait holds an even deeper emotional resonance, as she was the first person I ever captured through the lens of a camera. It is a visual tribute to a person who has grown to be my safe space, reflected in the interplay of light and shadow.
