Sunrise Run (Single)
DESCRIPTION
I captured this sunset image in the Camargue region of Provence, France in June, 2024. Camargue is an area in the southern region of Provence, France along the Mediterranean. It consists primarily of marshes and wetlands from the Rhone River delta. It is famous for its black bulls and all white horses. The horses of Camargue are a traditional French breed of working horse indigenous to the area that live in semi-feral conditions in the marshes. They are smaller horses known for their stamina, agility and hardiness. The horses are born with black/brown hair over black skin, but the hair turns white as they mature. This image was captured on the beach at sunrise on a beautiful clear morning. I particularly like the grouping and flowing manes captured this image, as well as the mud splattering all around and on them.
