I was very fortunate to embark on this northern Canadian journey along with a well respected specialist, in fully experiencing the behavior(s) of what has been deemed "the phantom of the forest" for Great grey owls can camouflage themselves very well against their wooded environment.
As an amateur wildlife photographer, my journey and direction towards wildlife has been an immense learning curve through observational practices and mutual connections with like minded and interesting fanatics from around the world.
Fully absorbing and understanding how important our respective motives in protecting their environment is of symbiotic significance. It has shown me how delicate, beautiful, and courageous Great Grey owls are, as they provide essential pest control to their ecosystem. Therefore creating a balance as many other species play their role in their respective environments.

AUTHOR
I am a New York City based photographer with a keen eye for encapsulating moments both in proximal and distal reaches of the world. Wandering, discovering, and capturing memories along the way.
I have been on this photography journey for 14 years. Which began dominantly in capturing landscapes, then shifted sharply into wildlife, due to the turn of events and restrictions of the unfortunate result of the pandemic.
