Silver-gelatin print, photogram (camera less obtaining an image).
Work from the project "Null Island", the series "Null Matter" this series is the primary basis, an attempt to find the maximum zero point of reference for the birth of the world. With the help of a photogram, it is possible to obtain an image of non-existent objects and items; the image is drawn with light, which makes it possible to create something that does not exist in reality.
The project "Null Island" includes several independent series exploring "zero" not as a number, but as a metaphor for the end or the beginning, a starting point for something new, the project also infects the philosophical category of nothing - recording the absence, non-existence of a certain entity, or the denial of being in general. All the series within the project explore different aspects of the nature of "zero" and the philosophical interpretation of this entity in visual images. Something is happening in the world endlessly - political conflicts, wars, epidemics, natural disasters, my project is a kind of attempt to internally reset to zero, renew myself, leave the reality of existence and find myself outside the world, starting a new existence.
