The Glass Sculptures
Beauty is never just what is seen—it is what is suggested, veiled, and revealed in fragments. The Glass Sculptures explore this essence, capturing the human form behind softly nibbled glass, where light and distortion transform skin into shifting landscapes. The body, obscured yet present, dissolves into abstraction, existing between reality and dream.
This series is not about concealment but about deepening perception. The glass acts as both a barrier and a canvas, shaping light, softening edges, and inviting the imagination to complete the form. Mystery is woven into every texture and shadow, urging the viewer to look beyond the surface, to sense rather than see.
True beauty does not demand to be understood fully—it lingers, elusive, in the spaces between clarity and enigma.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
I am educated as a visual theatre maker, I learned photography from since I was 16 years old. It’s always been a passion in my life. In my work as a theatre director I focus on big themes, I zoom out on the world as it were and look for the zeitgeist. As a photographer I zoom in on the details, on that one image, that one moment that needs to be captured. My work as a theater director and photographer have the same source of inspiration; my indignation. It is the source from which I create my work, because this source is closely linked to who I am. Someone who is very worried about the world, even frustrated by the way we live and treat each other but who can also be amazed from a light beam through a pine forest.
