Deflated, leopard series (Series)
DESCRIPTION
These photographs form the third series of 'beautiful remains'. The first and second series are colourful and joyful compositions based on photographs of deflated balloons. The party is over but the memory remains in our hearts and mind. This series is based on helium deflated leopard. The slight morbid but yet joyful composition are bringing back the good memories in our mind.
AUTHOR
Agathe jacquillat is born in France and graduated from ESAG Penninghen, Paris, in 1998, with a diploma in Graphic Design. Shortly after she moved to London she obtained her Master of Arts at the prestigious Royal College of Art (RCA) where she studied Communication Art & Design between 1999 and 2001.
In July 2001 she set up renowned multi-disciplinary design studio FL@33 in London with fellow RCA-graduate Tomi Vollauschek. In the last 20 years they created an award-winning, internationally published body of work, ranging from self-initiated projects to commissioned work for clients from around the world.
Over the past few years Agathe’s work became more and more photographic. She curated and participated to some outstanding exhibitions in London and in France.
Her ideal vision is to recreate the sense of beauty which lie between a dreamy and a dark world. Giving the viewer the doubt of looking at a photography or a painting. Agathe’s ambition is to revive the beauty with emotions.
Projects by and with Agathe won many awards over the years and were extensively exhibited as part of solo and group shows around the world including the MoMA,New York, Photographer's gallery, London, Art Dubai, Mezzanine gallery, USA...
