In my photographic journey, I've sought to encapsulate the profound intensity of experiencing the world around me. A pivotal aspect of this exploration is the sensation of derealisation—akin to the haziness of being inebriated, where eyes resist opening and surroundings morph into an ethereal dance. This disconnection, at times comforting in its confined bubble, can also feel like a prison. I wanted to visually narrate these contrasting emotions—both the serene and the paralysing.
This project was created using a 4x5 large format camera (La Chambre) with expired color positive and negative film, as well as one digital image. All photographs retain their natural effects and were intentionally left unedited to preserve the authenticity of the process. Continuous light, flash, and colored gels were used to create, soft, dreamlike tones, while natural materials like water and scattered flowers introduced texture and fluidity to the imagery.
The ghostly forms and hazy visuals mirror the experience of disappearing—of feeling unmoored and disconnected from the world.
The culmination of this visual exploration finds expression in a holographic and biokinetic installation—that further immerses viewers in the emotional tapestry that inspired this project.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
I am a photographer based in Berlin, born in Chișinău, Moldova, I studied Photography and Cinema at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
My photographs are rooted in street and conceptual photography, using the medium to explore emotional depth and psychological complexity. I am often drawn to personal themes, focusing on how internal experiences can be translated into visual form. My work is deeply personal, shaped by memory, nostalgia, and the fleeting nature of time. I am drawn to images that hold stillness but carry a weight of feeling.
I have exhibited my work in Moldova (solo exhibition) and at TBA - Berlin in the group exhibition "As Above, So Below." My professional experience includes working for Moldova.org in Chișinău, where I was involved in visual storytelling and journalism.
Currently, I work as a mixologist in a cocktail bar in Berlin while transitioning into freelance photography. My goal is to fully dedicate my time to photography.
