I was born in Kazan, Russia.
Since 2022, I have moved with my family to Slovenia. I shoot self-portraits that reveal feelings and emotions during the period of emigration. And also moments from the life of my children, their growing up and interaction with nature through the prism and transmission of my own experience.
In self-portraits, I explore identification and my states of being. The state of expectation for something to come - a new day, a new week, a new period in life - is very resourceful and at the same time very draining. In the moment when we have not yet turned our face to something coming, we are expected for it within ourselves.
