Everyday Solitude
This project is dedicated to visualizing the socio-philosophical meaning of loneliness as an element of everyday life.
The works of the project show different forms of experiencing loneliness: from voluntary solitude to forced social and psychological isolation of a person.
On the one hand, loneliness is considered in the context of a conscious choice, when a person prefers solitude as a way to regain the lost feeling of his self-sufficiency. There is no negative connotation here, it is a state of peace and inner harmony with oneself.
On the other hand, loneliness is shown as an internal experience associated with the impact of external circumstances on a person.
Everyday household items in the works of this series act as “third plan” heroes who complement the context of the narrative, and the color scheme chosen for each specific photograph enhances the feeling of what is happening in the frame.
