DESCRIPTION
There are situations in life when you want to put on rose-coloured glasses, so that the world becomes light, airy and cloudless. You try to escape from reality into the world of dreams, wrapping yourself in the enveloping pink matter, closing your eyes to reality.

Anna König (b. 1984) is an artistic photographer.
She was born in Omsk, Russia.
She has lived and worked in Germany since 2009.
Main techniques: photography, digital collage.
For me, photography is a connection to the outside world amid the isolation I faced as an emigrant. In my work, I escape reality, creating a connection to the outside world through the viewer.
When creating images of my characters, I strive for a synthesis of beauty and symbolism. In my work, I use various materials to create an image. Flowers, plants, and fabrics are frequent sources of inspiration.
My works are a reflection of my inner state, a reaction to external events in the world and society, expressed through authentic images.
