Vivid Colors Series (Series)
DESCRIPTION
Photography is a dialogue between reality and perception. In my series, Vivid Colors, I transform photographs (mostly analog) through digital manipulation, celebrating color and texture. By revisiting black-and-white and color images, I explore how digital tools can amplify their essence without AI. The results are vibrant compositions bridging tradition and modernity. Analog photography captures moments with depth, but it has limits. This series breaks those constraints, infusing images with a bold palette. Black-and-white photographs serve as blank canvases, while color ones become foundations for reinterpretation. Each modification is intentional, evoking emotions hidden in the originals. Starting with scanned analog photographs, I use digital tools to layer and adjust elements like saturation and texture. This manual approach ensures every detail aligns with my vision, emphasizing human creativity over automation. The absence of AI underscores my commitment to authenticity. Vivid Colors examines transformation, memory, and imagination. The vivid hues challenge nostalgia, offering fresh perspectives and bridging past and present. The process reflects life’s unpredictability, where clarity and chaos coexist. It’s a testament to tradition’s relevance in modern art. By combining analog and digital, Vivid Colors redefines photography as both documentation and creative expression.
