Experimental nominee

Han Haesuk feels numerous cracks throughout her body, and as the pieces of these cracks harden and the pain fills them, she begins to accept the divine will. She then embarks on a journey to find the process of how these cracks around her are created and filled. She captures the traces of her life, which make up who she is today, in 36 frames of film. From there, she derives the colors of her life through their statistics. Since 2016, Han Haesuk has participated in numerous group exhibitions, and in 2022, she held a solo exhibition at the Gaon Gallery in Insadong. She has participated in many exhibitions, including the Photography in Contemporary Art at the Seoul Arts Center, and she received an Honorable Mention at the International Photography Awards (IPA) in the U.S. Recently, she showcased her work at Photodays.paris in the Marais district of Paris in 2024
