I am so sorry. To have the urge to do this. For wanting this. For being selfish, yet not selfish enough. For loving you. Yet not loving you enough. Please forgive me. For not be able to give you a choise.

There can be many different reasons for regretting motherhood. For me personally, it was the fear of the uncertain future of my children and the guilty conscience of having them anyway.
But there is alwyas hope that they, one of them all, will finally change the world.

Petra W.Barathova, born in 1980 in Bratislava, is a Slovakian photographer, videographer and former opera singer living in Germany.
After a long, successful career on various
stages in German-speaking countries, she decided to change perspective and follow her true calling, people photography.
This passion arose on the backstage of the theater, where she loved to capture backstage life, her colleagues and the special lighting atmosphere.

She has now been working as a portrait and art photographer for 12 years.
Her greatest source of inspiration are old masterpieces, which influence the composition and lighting of her photographs and the revealing and capturing of human emotions.
