Fine Art nominee

This is a project that had been floating in my mind for long, and maybe this is just the beginning of a journey. It’s clearly inspired to the tv series “Twin Peaks”, by David Lynch and Mark Frost.
We created a sort of “black lodge” in which all characters are trapped, a dimension living in between the “sensible world” and the “real world”.
We tried to let each charachter tell a bit of his own story through the usage of specific poses, lights and symbols.

Francesco Ricci is a professional photographer, retoucher and teacher of photography and post production based in Bari, Italy. He’s been working with commercial photography in the fields of portrait, still life and architecture, receiving commitments by musicians, actors, chefs, architects and Adv companies.
Spends a lot of time on professional training and he specializes his crafts in studio photography and post production.
He’s been teaching photography and post production in the school of photography and filmmaking “Spaziotempo” since 2017. Qualified “Adobe Certified Expert” in Photoshop CC since 2019 And has been working for “IDA Fotografia” by Nausicaa Giulia Bianchi since 2023, he is also Ambassador for “Mind the color” plugin for Photoshop since 2024.
