Landscape nominee

This series of photographs was taken during an unforgettable mountain hike. I chose a time with minimal tourist activity to capture the serene beauty of Daocheng Yading in snow. It was my first time using a 4x5 film camera for landscape photography. Carrying nearly 10 kilograms of gear at an altitude of 4,000 meters was a strenuous task that left me nearly breathless. Enduring fierce winds and snowstorms, I completed the shoot in a state of near dizziness. Despite the challenges, I am highly satisfied with the photographs, as they capture the magnificent scenery most visitors never see.
