Hagoromo (Series)
DESCRIPTION
Hagoromo is said to be a garment worn by celestial maidens that allows them to fly freely through the air. The phantom garment plays with beautiful colors and emits a soft, graceful shine.
When I'm facing the scenery, I feel like I'm looking at a plumage of feathers. There are moments when the air floating there is dyed by light, creating a mysterious color gradation.
The reason we perceive signs of nature may be because we are being fooled by the ever-changing tricks of light and color. At the mercy of the changing light, the colors cast a spell on you. There is a very delicate and sensuous beauty that can only be felt with the skin.

Born in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, lives in Gunma Prefecture. Graduated from Kyoto Institute of Technology and University of Photography.
I try to depict the life cycle of the landscape, from budding to decaying trees, from rocks to sand.
