Thirty million years ago, tectonic forces began to buckle and fold solid rock, defying the relentless power of wind and rain. From this battle emerged one of nature's most unique wonders: a steep-sided ravine hidden high in the mountains. On one side spans the largest natural arch in the Alps, while opposite it, a colossal skull-like formation stares out from the cliff face.
As night fell and the Milky Way was revealed, a bright light flew through the air, casting its glow upon the ancient bones of the Earth. In daylight, the contours of the rock remained subtle. Only when lit from above were the valley's secrets unveiled, and the skull’s hollow eyes peered into the night.
