In this work, I explore the multifaceted topic of self-acceptance and inner strength. My model before the Covid-19 pandemic was slim and healthy. However, the disease has changed not only her physical condition, but also her figure, which, of course, is very difficult for a person to accept.
In this portrait, she represents the Roman goddess Flora, symbolizing spring, renewal and beauty of nature. The flowers blooming on her chest embody the femininity and indomitable strength inherent in every woman, regardless of appearance. Every bloom reminds us that beauty takes many forms and that a goddess lives in each of us.
This work is more than just an image; it is a manifesto of self-acceptance and a call to see your true self. I invite the audience to think about how important it is to accept oneself, to find strength and grace in life's difficulties, like spring flowers that bloom after the harshest winter. May this photo give hope and inspiration to all women.: You are beautiful, and your story deserves to be told.
