This project is a visual testimony to the genocide in Gaza, capturing the raw reality of life under relentless airstrikes, forced displacement, and systematic destruction. Through powerful and intimate imagery, it reveals the stories of civilians who have been erased from mainstream narratives—the children who lost their limbs and families, the mothers mourning their sons, the doctors fighting against impossible odds, and the displaced struggling to survive in makeshift shelters.
Each frame tells a story of grief, resilience, and the enduring human spirit in the face of annihilation. From hospitals overflowing with the wounded to prayers held among the ruins, these images document not just a war, but an attempt to erase a people and their history. Yet, amidst the devastation, there is resistance ,not with weapons, but with survival, with remembrance, and with the refusal to be silenced.
This is not just a collection of photographs. It is evidence. It is a plea. It is a reminder to the world that behind every destroyed building, behind every mass grave, there are names, dreams, and voices that must not be forgotten.

AUTHOR
Abdulrahman AlKahlout
Photojournalist and Humanitarian Advocate
Born on December 27, 1996 – Gaza, Palestine
I am a Palestinian photojournalist from Gaza, a city shaped by decades of war and resilience. My journey began in 2009, focusing on everyday life, which later transformed into documenting humanitarian stories, especially during conflicts. The camera, for me, is a voice for the voiceless and a tool to fight injustice.
I covered major events, including the Gaza wars in 2021 and 2023, border protests (2018-2019), and the 2023 Turkey-Syria earthquake. Despite six injuries while on duty, my commitment to truth-telling remains unwavering.
My work extends globally, with stories from the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, though my Palestinian passport often limits my movement.
I have been recognized with multiple prestigious awards, including the LensCulture Emerging Talent Award 2024, New York Photography Award (War category), Tokyo International Photography Awards, and the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award.
Photography transcends borders, amplifying marginalized voices and documenting the human cost of conflict. My work has earned both local and international recognition, and I continue to share stories that highlight our shared humanity.
