DESCRIPTION
This is one of my portraits of the serie adoption and refugee children. The Congolese girl Amy was 2 years old when her Dutch mother adopted her. She radiates elegance and power as she stands in this beautiful gold dress. The dress is made of a shiny fabric that catches and reflects the light.
AUTHOR
I was born and raised in Heerenveen in the Netherlands. After 30 years working at a bank I decided to change my career. In 2012 I bought a camera and started in 2015 my own photostudio. The Dutch Masters I am very interested in! The last years I won a lot of photo competitions and awards as: Siena Awards, Creative Photo Awards, Fine Art Photography Awards, Vincent van Gogh Photo Award, William Rutten Photography Award, Best of best Photographers Oneeyeland, PIA d'OR Talent Award, Winner grote Fotowedstrijd EU and more.
