This project captures the essence of a month-long journey across Thailand, which took place in November 2024. Traveling alongside my writer friend, we embarked on an adventure that began in Singapore, crossed Malaysia, and took us all the way to Chiang Rai in northern Thailand.
One of the most striking moments occurred in Krabi, where I captured a woman and her daughter riding a motorbike, taken from the vantage point of a tuk-tuk as we sped through the streets. Another unforgettable scene unfolded in Chiang Mai, where I photographed Buddhist monks walking along a mountain path at the Doi Kiew Lom viewpoint.
Our journey then led us to the remote border region between Thailand and Myanmar, where we traveled over 500 km on a motorbike to reach a Karen village. The Karen women, known for their distinctive neck rings, shared their unique culture and traditions with us.
Each photograph captures an authentic moment from daily life, telling the story of the people we met along the way. These images are not just about the places we visited, but about the lives unfolding within them—the quiet moments and the connection to the world around them.
