DESCRIPTION

I recorded these wonderful shots in the winter of 2024 during a hike near the village of Hryhorivka, Cherkasy Region, on the right bank of the Dnipro River, under the slopes of the mountains of the Trakhtemyriv Regional Landscape Park, Ukraine. These are wonderful places for recreation and photos with incredible landscapes that reveal their beauty at different times of the year.

I am interested in experimenting to see the world around not as it is, but as it could be. Various photography methods and technologies help in this. Looking at familiar things, events and places in a different way is very interesting and exciting. Colors, tone, halftones, the artistic and emotional component of photographs - this is what attracts me and inspires me to continue doing this work. I like the process of taking photos no less than the photos themselves, and it's nice to walk with the camera in the city or park, forest or near the river.

My name is Ruslan. I was born and raised in the picturesque Ukrainian village of Hrytsiv, and I live in Kyiv, Ukraine. Photography has always been an important part of my life since I was 12 years old. My first camera was a Smiena Symbol. I love going outside and photographing almost everything, including architecture, wildlife, landscapes, and people. I enjoy sharing some of these photos with you here. I work with film, medium format, and digital photography. Although some of my cameras are quite expensive, I like photos taken with the simplest cameras. This also applies to mobile phones. As a rule, the quality of a photo does not depend on the quality of the camera, but on the desire and effort of the photographer. I appreciate watching the work of others.
