Abstract nominee

Taken on a rainy November morning. I was using a telephoto lens to create abstract images out of the raindrops, remaining gold leaves on the thin black branches and bokeh. I stood under a tree canopy on one side of a woodland clearing and focussed on the trees across the clearing which created bokeh from the golden leaves and raindrops on my side and formed an extra layer to those fuller leaf canopies on the birches. I wanted to find a tree my side of the clearing with the right amount of rain drops and golden leaves directly opposite a prominent birch on the other side of the clearing so as to match them up and create a layered effect. The effect reminded me of a Klimt painting - the golden hues, golden circles and the birch. In the second photo I wanted a more abstract effect furthering that abstract Klimt painterly effect.
