The title, "Urban Morse Code," refers to this pattern of illuminated rectangles. They feel like a cryptic message broadcast from the city itself, embodying the rigid order and endless repetition of modern life. Each light, a perfect geometric shape, could be a pixel in a digital matrix or a character in an unknown script.
Conceptually, the work explores the relationship between the individual and the collective. While part of a uniform structure, each light holds its own space and story.
