Architecture nominee

By the greatest chance, I walked up into an Osaka skyscraper a few hours before taking a train for Hiroshima. I was very surprised to discover there these majestic interior spiral staircases leading from the 38th floor to the 40th floor.
That morning, the large hall on the 38th floor was deserted and the curves of the staircase played a fascinating game with the shadows projected by the floor-to-ceiling windows of the building. I was spellbound.
This is a B&W edit of one of the many pictures I took that morning.

Former biologist and painter I am a passionate amateur photographer. Born in Italy, I now live in France. Everything I know about photography is self-educated. Internet research, inspiration from the works of other photographers and some kind advices from professional photographers helped me to progress. And, of course, a lot of work and patience trying things out. I have experimented photographing in all sorts of genres, from landscape to portraits and architecture. I am continuously trying to learn more about how to express myself through my work.
