Window Facade (Single)
DESCRIPTION
The lines, colors, and shapes of this building immediately captivated me. On this day, the beautiful reflections in the windows were also a highlight.
AUTHOR
Nature is my studio – a constantly changing interplay of light, water, wind, and time. My photography
focuses mainly on the coastal landscapes of northern Germany and Europe, which I often capture using
long exposures.
I am fascinated by the tension between permanence and transience in nature. Through long exposure
times – sometimes seconds, sometimes minutes – I try to reveal movements that are normally invisible
to the human eye: drifting clouds, flowing tides, shifting light.
Most of my images are created in the quiet hours of dawn or dusk, when the light is soft and the
landscape still. My photographic style favors subtle tones, minimalist compositions, and a restrained
editing process that respects the integrity of the scene.
In addition to long exposure work, I also explore landscape and architectural photography. Whether
capturing a fleeting moment of light over the dunes or the vast silence of the tidal flats, my goal remains
the same: to find tranquility and meaning in the ordinary.
I believe that even everyday landscapes possess a quiet dignity that deserves to be seen. My images
are an invitation to pause – to experience a moment of stillness in a fast-paced world.
