The work is a collage combining photography and images generated by artificial intelligence. The central figure — a young man — is partially merged with an AI-generated landscape inspired by the paintings of Candido Portinari. From the visible part of his body grows a fantastical, fleshy flower, whose petals resemble flesh — a symbol of the new, strange, and wondrous emerging at the boundary between life and the artificial. On his arm, a tattoo of the tree of life emerges through the artificial, reminding that the source of everything is life itself.
Conceptually, the piece explores the idea of the human as both creator and part of their own creation — artificial intelligence and AI-generated art. A symbiosis arises, where the boundaries between the real and the artificially created dissolve, giving birth to a new form of life and artistic experience.
