The Unseen
This work originates from the experience of the unwanted child.
A life in which presence is tolerated, but never truly seen.
Where silence became safer than speaking, and invisibility a means of survival.
The images do not depict specific events.
They carry traces — of absence, of vigilance, of a body that learned to take up little space.
What remained unseen in childhood settles into adult life:
in distance, in restraint, in the search for grounding where none was ever given.
The Unseen is not about victimhood, but about what endures when recognition is withheld.
About the quiet presence of that which was never named, yet shaped everything.
