Conceptual nominee

I wanted to show the feeling of shame as a mix of being exposed and invisible at the same time. Shame can isolate us, even when we feel like others are watching or judging. It’s about those moments when we turn away from ourselves, shaped by pressure, guilt, or fear of not fitting in. Shame affects the way we carry ourselves, how we speak—or stay silent—and how we move through the spaces around us.

I was born in 1991 in Luhansk (Ukraine) and spent most of my life there until a fate brought me to Poland and made me fall in love with Wroclaw, which is the city of my current residence and active photography life for the last years. I consider people by themselves and all expressions and forms of human activities to be the best source of inspiration for my photography.
