Blue Melancholy (Series)
DESCRIPTION
Light and shadow, two opposites in constant dialogue — like the dual nature of the human self. In this session, the model becomes a vessel between what is revealed and what remains concealed.
The delicacy of the blue, translucent fabric, almost as fragile as a passing thought, symbolizes the vulnerability of existence — a state of suspension between matter and spirit. The feather in her hair recalls freedom, but also transience; a reminder that every flight casts a shadow, and every light has its roots in darkness

AUTHOR
Olga Szewczuk (1991 Poland) Works in the field of analog and digital photography, traditional printmaiking and painting. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at the Faculty of Graphics. She took part in numerous exhibitions and open-air events in Poland and abroad. In 2016/2017 and 2017/2018, she received the rector's scholarship for artistic achievements.
She took part in the 12th Biennale of Student Graphics 2021 Antibodies, International Bienale of Miniature Art, KissPrint NOC GRAFIKI Festival, Festival of Photography in traditional and Alternative Techniques, Art Fresh Festival.
