DESCRIPTION
This series was made in the early morning hours when the world is
quiet and the fog becomes a companion rather than an obstacle.
These are self portraits.
Encounters with solitude, uncertainty and the soft space in between.
At first the figure may seem lost.
A lone shape moving through empty fields and fading light.
But the work is not about sadness.
It is about solitude.
A moment that opens instead of closing.
The images explore a state where the way forward is unclear yet
still necessary.
A place where not knowing becomes its own kind of clarity.
I wanted to show that being alone does not have to be a wound.
Stepping into uncertainty can be a way to find yourself.
The figure does not know exactly where he is going but he moves
anyway.
These photographs follow that quiet search.
The point where a soul that feels lost begins not to feel lost at
all.
AUTHOR
Thaddäus, known as hozzography, is a photographer from a small town in the Austrian countryside. Since 2019, his passion for photography has grown, capturing diverse scenes from serene rural landscapes to dynamic moments across Europe and beyond.
His work spans various genres, with a special focus on nature and landscapes, where he finds tranquility and inspiration. From gloomy forests and wild rivers to dancing flower fields and the sea, he aims to evoke a dreamlike quality in his photographs. By experimenting with filters and techniques, he blends reality with surrealism, inviting viewers to lose themselves in space and time.
