"The Cure for Soul" is a reflection on fragility — on what begins only to fade away. The woman captured in these frames exists on the threshold between worlds: between presence and absence, body and soul.
The bird resting upon her hands becomes a symbol of life — delicate enough to be broken, yet strong enough to be released. The dark, embroidered fabric contrasts with her pale skin, creating a visual meditation on memory, traces, and time.
The bare back with a faint scar holds the silence of pain and purification. It is both a mark of existence and a reminder that life leaves its traces even where we wish to remain untouched.

In this silence — between skin and light, between hand and bird — lingers a question about the nature of being: are we the keepers of life, or merely its fleeting touch?

Grodzisk Mazowiecki (Poland)

Olga Szewczuk (1991 Poland) Works in the field of analog and digital photography, traditional printmaiking and painting. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at the Faculty of Graphics. She took part in numerous exhibitions and open-air events in Poland and abroad. In 2016/2017 and 2017/2018, she received the rector's scholarship for artistic achievements.
She took part in the 12th Biennale of Student Graphics 2021 Antibodies, International Bienale of Miniature Art, KissPrint NOC GRAFIKI Festival, Festival of Photography in traditional and Alternative Techniques, Art Fresh Festival.
