Like Moths To A Flame (Single)
DESCRIPTION
I’ve had more than my fair share of relationships with toxic and abusive people and asked myself for a long time why I was choosing them to be in my life before I realised I wasn’t choosing them, they were choosing me. Like moths to a flame, darkness is attracted to the light. Round and round the flame they go, obsessively circling. Not daring to get too close but unable to stay away. Then when they realise that in order to become one with the light they have to sacrifice the darkness they fearfully retreat back to the familiar shadows or vengefully try to extinguish the flame. However, their behaviour has no impact on the light, which simply does what it has always done………shine.
