Sometimes I can no longer tell whether it is my blood that flows through the tree roots, or their sap that pulses through my veins.
“Blood Flow” is part of a series in which I explore an intimate encounter with my own nature — and with Nature itself, of which we are an inseparable part. It is a story about the longing for rootedness, the archetypal call of the body and soul to attune to the primordial rhythm of life.
It is a portrait of a relationship — between the ephemeral and the eternal, the physical and the timeless. Between the breath of a tree and the beating of a heart. Between earth and dream.
“Blood Flow” is a manifesto of spiritual symbiosis. A vision of life ceaselessly circulating — through veins, through sap, through memory.

I am lucky enough to be able dedicate my free time to photography. Photography is not my source of income, so I can pursue it without restrictions. The surrounding world still offers stories that I want to tell. Being honest how and why I tell them is still a mystery to me.
Almost everything inspires me. People, legends, places, music, dreams. I'm not asking for my dreams. They come unexpected when I close my eyes. They are intrusive, elusive, full of ragged events. They appear and disappear, often before I have a good look at them.
