Mermaids’ explores a dreamlike intimacy between two identical figures, inspired by Gustav Klimt’s Water Serpents I. Using two portraits of the same model, I merged them in post-processing to create a sense of gentle floating and quiet reflection. The dresses, embroidered with delicate beads and pearls, enhance the ethereal, underwater-like atmosphere. This work is about mirroring, subtle connection, and the serene beauty of inner worlds.
