The original photo was taken in the Mina District of Doha. It was processed to demonstrate the contrast of this quiet corner and the busy big city behind it. It is also maybe our emotion sometimes that like to escape the busy city to enjoy this quiet corner by seating in this lonely chair.

A photography artist with a Ph.D. in computer science specialized in computer graphics and geometric modeling. I worked for IBM Research and other high-tech companies in my early career, then moved to management consulting, as a chief architect in enterprise architecture. Photography is my new endeavor in recent years, which could be a natural extension from my hobby and talent in paintings at younger age. My dancing experience may serve as another artistic spin. I like to catch the essence and soul of the objects that interest me and talk back in my language and expression. Photography is a way of communication between me and the world around me.
