What struck me most that evening was the transformation of this rugged coastline — the usually bare rocks were blanketed in lush greens and countless wildflowers. Amid that explosion of life, I discovered a dense cluster of daisies, their white petals glowing softly in the golden light of the setting sun. I placed them at the heart of the composition, letting them lead the viewer’s gaze toward the horizon.
The scene unfolded in perfect harmony: warm light spilling over stone, grass, and bloom, blending tones of gold, green, and white into a serene balance. The Punta Nariga lighthouse stood in the distance, silent and steadfast, its shape completing the dialogue between land, sea, and sky.
This image is a celebration of spring’s fleeting beauty — a reminder that even the harshest landscapes can, for a brief moment, bloom with color and light.

I’m Álvaro Lamas, the human being behind the project Lost in Woodlands Photography.
I'm Irix Lens Ambassador also.
I feel at home in the woods, wandering amongst century-old trees, glimpsing as the mist sweeps down the mountain side to where the cold and crystalline waters of the rivers roar.
I feel at home wandering through those old paths that are hardly more than fuzzy trails in the undergrowth, and that lead me to places that hide amazing treasures.
I feel at home when I sit on the cold mossy rocks, still wet from the night dew, while the murmur of the waterfalls is the only thing that accompanies my thoughts.
Woods are my Home & There is where I belong.
