This photographic series captures the shifting landscapes of the Słowiński National Park’s moving dunes — a space where light, sand, and air form a dialogue of quiet transformation. Through five minimalist compositions, the project explores the tension between motion and stillness, presence and absence. Each frame reveals a landscape that reshapes itself, erasing traces as quickly as it creates them.
The dunes, sculpted by the relentless Baltic wind, appear both timeless and fleeting — a living desert by the sea. Stripped of human presence, the images invite the viewer to contemplate the essence of emptiness, where subtle variations in texture and light become the narrative. The absence of scale turns the familiar into the abstract, suggesting infinity within simplicity.
“Between Wind and Silence” is not merely a documentation of place but a meditation on transience and perception. It seeks to translate the rhythm of natural forces into visual form, allowing space to speak for itself. What remains is a portrait of impermanence — serene, luminous, and always in motion.
