Veratrum Summer (Series)
DESCRIPTION
False Hellabore (Veratrum) appear at medium elevations in many parts of the Washington Cascade Mountains. The dramatic progression of finely textured shoots early in the season gives way, first to layered curvilinear forms, then over a few weeks, their exquisite forms decay while retaining an elegance even in decline.
