Night nominee

High above the fading light, noctilucent clouds drift like a memory of the sun. Their fragile ice crystals reflect the last glow from beyond the horizon.

Photography begins for me in moments of quiet attention. What draws me in are places where light, mood and the traces of time leave their mark. In my photographs, I try to hold onto the atmosphere, to the feeling of what it was like to be there.
