Night nominee

Lighting is one of the fundamental design elements of the art installations at Burning Man. For some, it’s the most exceptional feature; for most, it’s a core creative element; and for all, it’s the bare minimum to ensure the artwork can be seen at night in what is otherwise a pitch black desert lake bed. With over 400 pieces spread across the open playa in the Black Rock Desert, the warm glows, creative patterns and rich colors make for a breathtaking array of sights which truly come alive at night.
