Zebras are highly vigilant of their surroundings, capable of detecting the approach of predators promptly and issuing timely warnings. They typically live in groups, where collective cooperation enhances their defense against predators and effectively improves their survival rates. When faced with danger, zebras alert each other and flee in chaotic formations, making it difficult for predators to target them. Due to the impacts of human activities and climate change, zebra populations are declining. As a crucial component of the African savanna ecosystem, protecting zebras not only helps maintain biodiversity but also contributes to preserving the ecological balance of the savanna.
