Nudes nominee

The series features Miyu, a young Japanese model, seated gracefully on the back of a large armchair. She is entirely nude, yet a small synthetic fur veils her nudity, creating a contrast between exposure and restraint. Behind her, a sea of roses unfolds - delicate and lush, evoking notions of purity and virginity.

Miyu’s pose is a playful provocation, her legs subtly opened, balancing seduction and eroticism. Without the fur, the composition would shift towards the overtly explicit, but here, suggestion is more powerful than revelation. Her gaze and expression tease the viewer - does she merely challenge their desires, or is she inviting them into a fantasy that exists only in their imagination?

The roses, traditionally symbols of innocence, stand in contrast to the erotic energy of the picture. This interplay deepens the tension between what is seen and what remains hidden, between purity and temptation. The pictures question the boundary between eroticism and art, between reality and fantasy.

In this delicate balance of revealing and concealing, the series celebrates beauty, desire, and the power of suggestion - leaving the ultimate interpretation to the imagination.

It all started when I moved to Germany in 1990 and started to work with amateur models. I learned nude photography with the professional photographer Arboulan in the late 90s. As of 2004, I further learned from the Hungarian artist Szeni Jung. I then decided to start my project Venusonearth, including my own website, being a member of photo communities, and participating in foto contests.
My first ambition was to get printed in the French magazine PHOTO. I succeeded in 2007 and got printed eight times since. I then focused on my main project (2012-2017) and built a portfolio of nudes and portraits with the amateur model Julia who became my first muse.
After more than 30 years, I am still a passionate amateur photographer. Through my work with more than 100 models, I've succeeded in organizing one exhibition in Miskolc, Hungary, and getting international recognition, including 5 gold medals, several honorable mentions, jury choices and many acceptances, Contest juries from Trierenberg in Austria, the German Open Circuit, Riedisheim in France, and the Dodho magazine have appreciated my work and motivated me to continue my creative work.
