Open Theme nominee

This series of photographs is a metaphor for our lives. When we are born, we are full of life, youth, and beauty. The world around us brings us joy and goodness. However, death accompanies us from the first minute of our lives, from our first breath. At first, it is very distant. It is as foreign to us as a stranger. Nevertheless, it approaches us like a friend, becoming more and more a part of ourselves. Carrying with it the signs of passing time, it leaves its mark on our bodies and minds. Until finally, youth and beauty disappear and we ourselves become death.

I am an amateur photographer with great passion. In 2020, my three works received an Honorable Mention in the International Photography Awards (IPA competition): "Journalist" and "Librarian" in the Non-Professional category: Fine Art, Portrait and "Girl from the magic garden" in the Non-Professional category: People, Children.
