Open Theme nominee

When I was arranging my photos, I wanted them to encourage viewers to reflect and, at the same time, answer the question: do women today have freedom of choice? And going further: what choices do they make?

Photography became my passion during my studies and since then, for over 25 years, it has been a source of joy, fulfillment, and sometimes an escape from everyday life. I started with travel photography, while also photographing horses, then added photojournalism, and recently street photography in Warsaw, where I have lived for 16 years. I have always tended to document reality, even if I was waiting for the right shot, light or action. Most of my photos are waiting for their time on my hard drive :)

However, the photos I sent to FAPA are closer to conceptual photography. This time, I created a new reality to express my thoughts and invite the viewer to reflect on their own.
I am the subject of all the photos.
