Open Theme nominee

A friend asked me to photograph her daughter who is developing her modern dance skills. After running through her dance routines, I asked her to try this leap from a crouched position. It was getting late and she was tired, but she caught air for that one frozen moment. This photo has stayed with me ever since.

I am an architect whose passion has moved on from the built environment. I now find my interest focused on capturing a moment in time with people I know. Working with people I know to create photographs is what challenges me and brings joy in this changing world.
