This series is especially close to my heart, it has been with me almost since the very beginning of my journey in photography.
The frame that started it all came from my partner’s parents’ garage. It was already damaged, warped from moisture and no longer usable for its original purpose. They were going to throw it away, but offered it to me first, thinking it looked like something I’d appreciate. They were right.
Since then, the frame has become a constant companion on my creative path. It has traveled with me through several countries and countless shoots, and parts of it have broken and been lovingly repaired along the way. This selection includes five images taken over seven years, the oldest from 2018, the newest from this year.
As the name suggests, this is an open-ended, infinite series. I continue to work with the frame whenever the mood, light, and location align and I suspect I will keep doing so until the idea no longer speaks to me.
So far, it still does.
